It was spring time when the roads were muddy that Denece got her
license to drive. The next day her
cousin, Sherrie Luthie, came and they went to chase after boys. Denece rolled her Dad’s new Frazer car. New cars were hard to get as it was just
after WWII. Denece lost a lens out of
her glasses and Sherrie ended up with a little scratch on her shoulder from
where the lens had hit her.
