Del
Argyle was not afraid of anything but a mouse. His daughter Denece Ann Argyle Perkins said if a mouse ran across the
kitchen floor he was the first one on the table or out the door. Edwin Perkins (his son-in-law) was with him
one day out in a field working on a combine.
He opened a small access door on the machine and out popped a
mouse. Edwin said he about ran clear
across the field.
