Edwin left for college the September after meeting Denece
Argyle, and his roommate and him both worked for the May Company (a big Dept.
Store there in Los Angeles.) They lived in a rooming house for college
students. At the Department Store, they would
go to the cafeteria on the first floor and then eat lunch out on the sun deck
on the roof.
